Each piece is named after the woman who first commissioned it. Hand-built, photographed in the Newstead atelier, and dispatched within five days of order.

All arrangements include a hand-thrown ceramic vase, care card, and gift wrap if requested.

Why Lilac

Why artificial actually wins.

Fresh flowers cost $80 a week and last six days. A Lilac arrangement costs once and looks identical for a decade. The maths is rude.

Museum-grade silk, latex stems, hand-painted petals. Closer than 30cm and you still can't tell. We've fooled florists.

The atelier

Meet Eloise.

I trained as a florist in Melbourne for six years before opening Lilac in 2016. The first three years were fresh stems. The wholesale runs, the 4am markets, the constant waste.

Then a regular customer asked me to build an artificial arrangement for her elderly mother in palliative care. I sourced premium silks from Japan and Italy. The piece looked identical to my fresh work. She wept.

Lilac has been artificial-only ever since. We've built six thousand arrangements for homes, weddings, hotels, and movie sets across Australia. Every piece passes my hands before it ships.

Three things. That is it. We include all of them with every order.

Dust monthly.

Soft microfibre cloth, no water, no spray. The cloth ships in the box.

ii.

Avoid direct sun.

Pinks fade in five years of Queensland summer. Keep them three metres from a north-facing window.

iii.

Reshape on arrival.

Box-fresh petals are flat. Bend each stem gently outward. Two minutes to full fluff.

Are these really artificial? They look real.

Yes. Every stem is silk, latex, or natural-touch foam. We source from three suppliers in Japan and Italy who hand-paint and texture every petal. The trade has a name for it: real-touch.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes. Free over $180, $14 flat under. Brisbane metro next-day, capital cities within three days, regional five days. Wedding hire only available in QLD, GC and Sunny Coast.

Can I return if I change my mind?

Stock pieces: 14 days, full refund, you pay return shipping. Custom pieces: design approval is final, but if a stem breaks in transit we replace within 48 hours at no charge.

Can you match my existing decor?

Yes. Custom is what we do best. Send us a photo of the room, the vase if you have one, and any colour you want hit. Quotes within 48 hours, designs within seven days.

Digital, any amount from $80, no expiry. Most-gifted is $245 for the Adaline, by a long way.
